California Vacation #4 (day 7)

Day 7!!!!!!!

Today we go home back to Texas. If we ever get there. 

We left California from Orange County airport around 9:30. We were SUPPOSED to get to Houston hobby airport at 2:30. A little before 2:30 we were circling a bad storm right around Houston and found out that they CLOSED hobby airport due to bad weather. We had to land in Austin. We sat on the plane in Austin for about 45. They thought we would get gas then head back when the storm blew over. They eventually made us exit the plane so they could move terminals. We got some food at the salt lick (yum) 

We had time to eat, charge our phones, grad some Amy's ice cream then board the plane again. We finally took off and headed back to Houston. We finally got to our apartment around 8pm. It was a bad ending to a fun trip! There is no place like home ❤️

California trip #4 (day 6)

Day 6!!!!!!

DISNEYLAND / CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got to the park as soon as it opened and stayed until closing (almost) .

It was a busy busy day! Luckily we planned out our rides so we never had to wait for than 30 minutes and only had to use like 4 fast passes. 

We had two park hopper tickets so since Eric and I were leaving the next day and weren't able to get the two day passes we went over to California adventure for a few hours! We rode tower of terror, California screamin and sorin over California. 

While we were in line for the tower of Terror I saw a few people from the show Vanderpump rules on bravo. It was a spin off of the real housewives of Beverly Hills. They were behind us so after the ride we waited until the got off so I could ask them for a picture. I think Eric was embarrassed

California trip #4 (day 4 and 5)

Day 4 !!!!

 

Saturday was pool party day! All of them family and friends came over to Nancy's. We played wahoo, ping pong, darts, washers, swam, and watched tv. It's always fun to hang out with family!

Day 5!!!!!

Sunday we didn't have any big plans. We went to brunch and John and Barbies house in Huntington Beach. There was a ton of food and a lot of people. Later that day we went back to Nancy's for some more fun and family time. We left early that night so we could get a good nights rest for Disneyland the next day! 

California trip #4 (day 1-3)

California day 1 ! 

We got to Cali around 5. We had dinner at Gary and Denise's, tri tip of course. Amy, Nate and Darlene were already there so we had a nice family dinner. 

Day 2 ! 

Today, Amy, Denise and I went to Sugar Plum. It was a craft show in a mall near knotts berry farms. I bought a purse and then we headed in the mall and I got a shirt also. We had a nice girls lunch at Claim Jumper. It was actually really good. 

After that Denise took us to Huntington Beach on the way home, which was really out of the way, but she is nice like that. 

After we got home we all got ready and headed to The Glasings' house for Connors 8th grade graduation party. They live in Torrance and their house it nested on the edge of a hill/(cliff?). 

 

Day 3 !!

Today was the Hollywood sign hike! Eric, Amy, Nate, Travis, Gary and I went on this excursion. We woke up sorta early to head to Hollywood and made pretty good timing considering we were going at 8am on a week day. The original trail we planned on taking was closed but someone lead us to another one. 

After the hike was the angles game. I think we have gone to one every trip so far. This time we were a group of 30. It was also cowboy night. How fitting for us texans! 

We had three rows of people in our group!
